From now through the holidays (Jan 5th, 2025), visitors can immerse themselves in a wonderland where marine magic beautifully intertwines with the spirit of the season. Here’s everything you need to know to embrace the magic of this seasonal celebration!
Meet Scuba Claus
Forget chimneys—Scuba Claus is diving straight into the action! Spot Santa underwater as he swims among fish and rays, spreading holiday cheer in his scuba gear. It’s a picture-perfect moment that kids (and kids-at-heart) will adore. The little ones usually have a wonderful chance to help Santa himself locate his xmas bell! It was always my kids favourite part of the whole day, sitting up front with all the little ones while watching the fish swim by. It is truly magical and the kids squeal so loud with excitement!
Holiday-Themed Displays
Stroll through the beautifully decorated Aquarium filled with over a million twinkling lights, festive trees, and underwater displays that bring the magic of the season to life. The aquatic residents—adorable sea otters, playful penguins, and glowing jellyfish—add their own charm to the festivities. Of course my favourite is the electric eels and watching them power up the nearby Christmas lights.
Experience the 4D Theatre
Take a break from exploring and immerse yourself in the magic of the holidays at the Aquarium’s 4D Theatre. This multi-sensory show is a must-see, making the experience unforgettable with sights, sounds, and a little extra splash. This year guests will get to see Rudolph which was always one of my favourites growing up and perfect for the whole family both young and old.
Festive Treats & Hot Cocoa
Feeling peckish? Cozy up with delicious holiday treats and warm drinks available at the Aquarium cafe space. Sip on some hot cocoa or a delicious bite to eat before continuing to explore their incredible space. There are endless things to learn and uncover at the Aquarium and staff are always more than thrilled to answer kids questions and tell you even more fun details about the animals they have.
