This spring, Metropolis at Metrotown invites you to embrace the beauty of the great indoors with their annual “We Love Moms & Mother Nature” celebration. Running from April 18 to May 19, 2025, the Grand Court transforms into a whimsical indoor glamping experience, perfect for honoring mothers and the natural world alike.
Glamping at The MET: April 18 – May 19
Step into a serene escape featuring three uniquely themed indoor glampsites inspired by the tropics, forest, and mountains. Each site is meticulously styled to offer a tranquil retreat within the bustling mall environment. This immersive installation is open during regular mall hours: Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to 7 PM. Please note, the exhibit will be closed on April 30 and May 10.
Mother’s Day Glampsite Party: Saturday, May 10
Celebrate Mother’s Day early with a special ticketed event on Saturday, May 10, from 12 PM to 2 PM. Held in the Grand Court, this festive gathering offers:
- Live music and entertainment
- Cocktails, wine, and light canapés
- DIY s’mores station and craft-making activities
- Woodland-themed photo opportunities
- A door prize draw
Each adult ticket includes a $20 Met gift card and a complimentary drink. Tickets are priced at $40 for adults and $5 for children aged 5–15; children under 4 attend for free. Proceeds support Burnaby Family Life’s Women Driving Their Future program.
