As some of you know I have very fair, finicky, oily, temperamental skin. Over the years I have grown used to the fact that I will probably always have teenage pimply skin and I have learned to deal with it in my own way... not always the best way but in the end after I smother my pores in makeup you can't tell I have them. I am talented like that. Or I just hide from public view during those times, either way you don't know any better than to think I have nice-fair-easy-going skin.
So since I have these issues you can understand how I can be up to trying out something new and so highly recommended. In the end I wasn't at all disappointed either. Of course in my few years on this planet I have tried my fair share of acne creams and I haven't enjoyed to many of them so lets go over some of the things I look for in an acne system and how well this product delivered on that!
- I don't like systems that leave my skin feeling tight in anyway. I am thankful to say that using these two things in combination didn't do that to my skin. I felt to tug to pull when making funny faces, smiling etc... so I think it is safe to say I liked that aspect right off the bat.
- I don't like systems with offensive or acidic smells. This product has a nice simple smell that isn't too strong and isn't offensive at all, neither does it smell like a concoction of chemicals. Again pleased.
- I don't like systems that make my skin have a bad reaction, since I have such fair skin I often gt bad reactions to products. After using this for several days there has been no reaction and my skin seems perfectly happy and yes I definitely noticed less break outs. I hope that will eventually turn into no break outs as I continue to use it!
- I don't like systems with way too many steps, I like how Dermagist kept is sweet and simple with a cleanser and a cream. It is exactly what you need and wont be too different than any regular routine making it easy to switch AND stick to it!
