Halloween and no ice...

Today is Halloween and I have a broken freezer.  Yup, that's right my freezer has died, kicked the bucket, and I still have yet to hear anything from my property manager on getting it fixed.  Best part is I was supposed to get an ice cream cake for my eldest's birthday party this weekend... joy.  I will just have to go on the hunt for a replacement... perhaps the valley bakery here in Burnaby will be able to create something like they did that pumpkin cake a few years back. 

I am pretty sure they can create something along the lines of "Angry Birds" don't you think??  I have already sent them an e-mail and will plan on confirming everything later today once I have an update on my freezer situation. 

In the meantime I would also like to tell you just how excited I am to see both my boys in their costumes!! I got my youngest a yellow angry bird costume and eldest a red angry bird!! I would dress up like a pig but... no... With the rain I probably wont be in costume I will be walking around like a sucker in the pissing rain taking two kids door to door.  I also have to blow things up... in the rain... so I hope this works out. 

So this may be the most torturous Halloween to date (although one of the cutest with the boys themed costumes)... and I don't even have any ice for a drink... these are dark days.  I better at least make a killing on our candy collecting... you know with the rain and everything lol!
