Dare To Dream!

I am soo happy to be getting the chance to see Disney on Ice the small child inside me is just squealing.  I haven't been to one of these shows in sooo long and it is coming up so fast I can't wait!!  I think my last one was Aladdin when I was really really young, that would have to have been in the early 90s, 94 sticks out but i'm not sure why.   In this house Disney is a massive part of our lives, I have grown up on it and the boys have been introduced right from the get go.  Though this theme maybe "princess-y" my boys are sooo stoked!!  We have loved watching all Disney movies and they happen to really love Tangled and Princess and the Frog, I mean lets face it the guys in them are hilarious, animation is incredible and the story line priceless, you can't go wrong! These stories on ice!??! I'm stoked, and I will be the first to admit i'm soo excited to see the lantern scene from tangled and the firefly's in Princess and the Frog, I want it to be MAGICAL just like it is in the movies.  Sooooo excited!!!

Here are the show details if you are interested in joining in on the fun!!

I think it is just the best when companies do all they can to rally behind something they really believe in AND rewarding others for doing the same!
Again here are the deets on what they're doing and how you can get involved!

"WHO/WHAT:  In honor of the Vancouver premiere of the new Disney On Ice show featuring Disney’s newest princess, the long golden-haired Rapunzel (from “Tangled”), Disney On Ice is sponsoring a heartwarming hair donation campaign partnering with Hype Hair Studio and Balding for Dollars to benefit underserved children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.  Disney On Ice and Hype Hair Studio are inviting the community to cut and donate their hair from November 5th – November 9th.

In appreciation of their kind-hearted gesture, each person donating their hair to charity will receive a free family pack of four tickets valued at $96 (available for the first 50 donations) to a Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream show. Featuring the debut of Rapunzel and other classic Disney princesses Tiana and Cinderella, Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream will be playing at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, November 21-November 25.

*Please follow these hair donation guidelines:
- Hair must be clean and dry prior to cutting
- The minimum length for hair donations is 8 inches.
- Curly hair may be pulled straight to measure the minimum 8 inches.
- Hair that has been chemically processed cannot be accepted.
- Grey hair is acceptable.
- Donations must be tightly bound in a ponytail or secured with rubber bands one at each end of the ponytail and in the middle; and placed in a sealed plastic bag.

The fitted hairpieces require 20 ponytails and are handmade in 40-60 hours. It is estimated that children make up over 80 percent of the donors, making this a charity where children have an opportunity to help children.

Again I have to extend a big thank you for doing something so big and amazing as this!  The difference you make in peoples lives will be priceless so kudos!  You should help support and share this post with others and get everyone involved and make some incredible memories with your kids!  If you can meet the hair requirements what a GREAT lesson to share with the kids, I know my mom donated all her hair before her chemo treatments started.  She thought it would be the best way to loose her hair AND make a difference, I was so proud of her.  If you can't do that then you know every penny counts!
