We Walk Our Butts

School is in full force, and we're really loving/hating it.  Eldest has really been loving it though, but his aversion to public washrooms is proving to be an obstacle.  I prepared for that though and included two changes of clothing JUST in case though i know it wont happen.  Thankfully I can say he has never had an accident outside the home since he has been potty trained, he is really good about it and we really consider the length of time we are out vs. public washrooms because we know he isn't fond of them.  I can't even really blame him really but this school bathroom thing we are going to definitely have to work on.

I am just happy he has been adjusting so well to the changes, though we had issues at soccer practice last night.  He is rather aggressive.

As for myself I have been adjusting pretty well to transporting the kids to and from school even with the daycare kid.  We've been walking everyday and haven't been late once... in fact I am having an issue with always being early.  Really irritating cause youngest has NO attention span and quickly gets frustrated.  Thankfully the weather has also been lovely, I can guarantee I will be not so pleased with my situation once the rain comes, then once the snow comes i'll just be angry at all times.  I HATE snow, lets pray that this year we have none... for my sake.

I can understand how other parents drive everyday, but I am thankful to have the chance to enjoy our stomping ground and ritual of walking each day.  Also not owning a car helps me ensure that I can't/wont drive the kiddos lol.  I am all green in this regard and THIRD challenge!! Consider it done and consider it permanent Seventh Generation!
