The beginning of school

Yesterday was my eldest's first day of school, we only had to go there for attendance BUT it was his first day.  Today he gets to go there for only a couple hours, they have this great "gradual" entry thing while they organized all the students into classes.  I will be excited to find out who is going to be my little man's teacher, I am secretly hoping for the newer teacher, she is younger and I think eldest already took a shine to her. 

We spent about 200.00 on JUST him for back to school this year and I couldn't be happier about that lol. 

"bird's the word"

Yesterday he was sporting his new angry bird shirt in our new house!! I got this shirt for $7 at Wal*Mart... don't tell my father in law we went shopping there... he doesn't like it, you know... being non union and all.

I am excited to see how well he will do today, I have done all that I can to prepare him for me LEAVING him at school for a couple of hours.  It isn't going to be a long day but it will be a big thing for him, with my luck he will run in there without even saying bye to his mommy.  But that is life and that is exactly what I want, for him to feel happy and secure enough without me. 

On another note we are loving our new home, the space is just AMAZING and we couldn't be happier.  We're excited to live here, to fix the place up and to hopefully NEVER EVER move again.  I have enough laundry to keep me folding forEVER and hubby has been to tired to put together the kids beds yet, but that is okay. 

I have also started my HCG diet... i know i'm insane... but I am willing to try it and hopefully end up a few pounds lighter.
