Only 3 More Weeks!!

I can't even begin to believe it BUT the ShesConnected conference is only three weeks away!  Again I am just floored it will be here in no time, my birthday party will be here in no time and I will be busy busy busy for the entire duration of October.  In with all this I am attempting to land another childcare client, not that I am in a rush.  It is nice to know that we're financially stable enough that I can be as picky as I like and choose someone with a GREAT schedule for me and my family.  I am no longer willing to be flexible as I once was.

Anyways I am soon off to Toronto which is soooo exciting cause I have never seen any part of Canada other than Vancouver!! So I am really thrilled, it is also the first time that I will be flying or travelling alone.  Let me recap...

When I was 10 my friends family paid for me to take a trip to California during a Christmas... to be honest I barely remember any of it.  Parts that I do are things like rides at Disney land and horrible tasting tap water in the middle of the night when I was clearly not thinking...

Then in 2004 I paid for a bus trip down to see my sister in Arizona with my mom.  40 hours on a bus, which weirdly enough was really fun :), probably not so much for my poor mom.  But we got there and we got home in one peace and in good spirits.

But this trip... this is a whole new ball game and I am sooo soo thankful I have a girlfriend in Toronto to help me out!! Between her and the conference I will be booked from morning till night and I am just fine with that!! She is completely in charge of our itinerary so I know she will do an incredible job of making sure we get the most out of my three nights and four days there!
