Struttin' it in my Naot!!

The other day (Friday) I was given the chance to head over to the Vancouver Naot Footwear location to check them out and get myself a pair of shoes from their collection!  I have to say that coming all the way from Burnaby was a long trek but it was certainly an amazing day to go for a walk, go dream house shopping and enjoy the Kerrisdale area and all it has to offer.

What did I think of Kerrisdale??  It was freaking BEAUTIFUL even their thrift store was all swanky looking.  Definitely a different kind of area than I am used to, note their thrift store has an AMAZING selection of shoes ranging in MANY name brands including Lacoste and Chanel.  I would suggest taking a looky loo, in fact I saw this amazing wedding dress there.  I did try to make my girlfriend buy herself a pair of sandals for 3.99 but she didn't, they even had ties for going up your leg, divine, but I did walk out with two shirts for eldest @ 1.99 each!
But my highlight was when my girlfriend and I finally made it to the Naot shoe store.  The store color scheme was really welcoming with whites, yellows and greens.  Tidy and easy to browse I was really impressed but instantly overwhelmed at the many many different GORGEOUS shoes. If you notice they are really well made, though hard to see via my cell phone here... but they are sooo comfortable.  They were originally founded by members of Kibbutz Naot Mordechai in 1942 and over 65 years time they managed to conquer the world!  a completely unique, high quality make I am completely in love with my sandal/clogs!! Wanna know why they're so comfy?? As soon as you put them on their cork footbed actually starts forming to your EXACT foot curves, acts as a shock absorber, distributes your weight evenly honestly they're like dock martins.  If you remember those shoes you remember how they're like walking on clouds.  Felt like a blast back to the 90s, it was pimp.
I didn't say anything to the staff there to get a great feel for their customer service and I was lucky that no one recognized me.  I was wearing a very vibrant dress as always, which the sweet girl working there commented on of course, so I instantly started to fall in love with the place.  What can I say, I am a sucker for compliments... remind me to add more dresses to my collection!  Continuing... the staff there were very nice and helpful still letting everyone browse around independently and still managing to create some nice light conversation... mainly shower me in compliments.  I really know now why so many women wear 1950s dresses.  I meandered around the store a few times making sure to take a look at every shoe in the collection, narrowed my choices to a couple different ones, loved trying them on and the sales lady there turned me onto a pair of clog/heels that I really quite liked called "Fusion".  So we bagged them up and off I trotted to go continue my exploration of this really GREAT area.  Of course that is also when they realized I was a blogger and I was all nervous but ensured them I was really happy with their store, customer service and I was so happy with the pair of shoes!
I was so thrilled I tried them on nearby and strutted my stuff in Kerrisdale.  I had a great time hitting the town with my girlfriend, meeting all the wonderful ladies at Naot and getting the chance to experience what a comfy shoe really is!  I really hope you guys check them out and get yourselves a pair they're completely worth it (plus they're in the middle of some CRAZY sales) and best part is you can actually replace and clean the insoles, which is FANTASTIC!! Plus they need no breaking in AT ALL honestly, they say that, and it is true... if you are clumsy though you may want to take another crash course on how to walk again.  You know... like I clearly should have.
See you can already clearly see my toesies already outlined! SEE, I told you these were a GREAT shoe.  Best part is they look super nice on me on my ugly deck!
again nice shoes, really ugly deck!
I had a really awesome time and I was pleased with everything GREAT place, if you want to check them out you can head down to their awesome location 2153 W 41st Avenue [phone] 604-263-6201 you can also check them out @ www.naot.ca to look at all their fashions up close and personal!  I look forward to shopping there again!! I am also happy to report that I managed to stay ON my feet the entire time I was out in them the last two days clearly the beauty of Kerrisdale got to me and turned my into bumbly fool lol!!

I discovered Naot in December, and my feet, back and heart are so much happier since wearing them. They are truly shoes which are comfortable from the first day you put your feet into them.

They have shoes that fit every shape and size foot and range from flats and heels to their fantastic FLIPFLOPSICLE range. One can not simply own just one pair of Naots!!!!! <3
