This is a picture of my little man and I waiting for the movie The Lorax to begin. As some of you may know from my tweets I was invited by the wonderful company "Seventh Generation," to join them on "the Green carpet." We were so excited to be apart of this, my boys are no strangers to the tale of the Lorax. I managed to find them the copy of the cartoon from the 70s when they were still very small so they've grown up with the Once-ler and Lorax.

I was so happy to hear that they were making this movie once again, it has such an amazing message for everyone, not just children. I think some points of the new movie were a slap in the face on how we treat our planet and I was soo moved by it. The Once-ler's song about how "he isn't so bad" was an incredible insight on how our world has begun to think, how advertising is misleading even! I was shocked and amazed. Not to mention the trees were just INCREDIBLE, they looked sooo fluffy and soft the animation was just incredible. Every new movie is always filled with amazing digital surprises and to top it off it was in 3D too!
The most amazing part of this whole adventure was definitely the
sponsors. You can see they are a company that really wants to do good by the world with their products, they were even nice enough to send us home with some goodies!! All of which are re-usable or biodegradable, and we were the first group of people to be lucky enough to try it here in Canada!

| Our sapling! |
"Unless someone like you care a whole awful lot, nothing's going to get better; its not!" It was our mission this afternoon to plant our little sapling, we put in a planter on our balcony so we can nurse it till it is bigger and ready for transport to a more permanent place! With my black thumb though this poor thing is probably doomed to death, hopefully with the lorax's help it will do just fine. Luckily my hubby can keep things alive... if I never touch them... and I already did that so its fate is in the lorax's hands that's for sure!
to learn more about the sponsors of this amazing event you can follow Seventh Generation on Twitter @seventhgen or via
facebook! Maybe they'll have an event near you! Don't forget to make a change for the better, we're all creatures on this planet together and I think it is about time to stop being so selfish, greedy and uncaring. Let's share people, cause isn't that what we're all trying to teach our kids? A simple lesson I think we all failed to learn.
